Founder and President, Reach Training
Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist
Steven Hamner, the Founder and President of Reach Training, is a sports performance coach who specializes in the training and preparation of elite professional athletes, with particular expertise in football and baseball. Additionally, he has worked with professional athletes across all major sports, as well as with general population clients seeking optimal health and fitness.
Steven has a decade of experience in the sports performance field, with the majority of that time dedicated to working exclusively with elite athletes. Prior to founding Reach, Steven worked at Fairchild Sports Performance in Houston, Texas, under the supervision of founder Ben Fairchild, who is widely considered to be one of the top sports performance coach for elite professional athletes nationwide.
Steven’s main clientele are MLB, MILB, and NFL athletes, developing and managing their programs both during the season and in the off season. He has also developed and managed training programs for NFL combine athletes.
Steven holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Performance and is recognized by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
Greg Roberts Jr.
Greg is a former NFL Defensive End who spent nearly 2 years playing in the NFL. He spent his first year on the Green Bay Packers and his second year on the Packers and Carolina Panthers practice squad before retiring after his second season.
Before playing in the NFL, Greg was a 3 year starter at Baylor. Greg has been working with Reach for nearly a year now and is heavily involved in the speed training as well as specific football training. His knowledge of being a former professional athlete helps him relate to the athlete and helps bring a unique perspective to coaching.
Has been training athletes from the youth level all the way up to the professional level for the last 7 years. Brandon is over the high school and college aged development and programming for Reach Training. He is overseeing the growth of our mentorship program. He will still work with our professional MLB and NFL population as well. He leads our speed groups as well as in charge for collecting their data and processing it in a way that will assist in future programming.
